I just got back I town after being on the road for 2 weeks without my PS4. The Jeremy Lin Spotlights were the “new” cards when I left town, so yeah… it’s been a minute. There is a slew of new cards I have my eyes on, but I’m wondering how you guys like them after using them for a while, and if anyone thinks they would make a positive impact on my lineup.

Here’s the lineup I was using before I left town (only used Kawhi a few games):

These are the cards that are catching my eye:
PD Shaq
PD AD
PD Magic
PD D Wade
D Malone

Would any of these guys be worth it for me to grab?

I would target AD for backup 4 and Magic for starting PG, plus Wade for backup PG, if you’re looking to build an unstoppable godsquad. Shaq probably won’t fit on your team. Malone could be backup 4 and push AD to backup 5 if you’d like.

They’re all great. But I think you only really need Lance Stephenson! And I’m not even joking. He has ridiculous attributes and animations, not to mention some of the best badging available

I’m personally sticking with Penny and Walt, but you could swap walt for magic if you wanted. I like walt better myself.

Shaq is overpriced for a non-shooting big. His price will crash hard, I wouldn’t overpay.

Wade, meh. If you want series II. Otherwise, I think we have plenty of good PGs.

If ur into having the latest and greatest always then replace Walt with Magic or Wade depending on playstyle (maybe Magic since u seem to like bigger, more defensive non shooting PGs), and replace D J Smith with AD

Kawhi and Jimmy are pretty much the same.

Shaq can’t shoot and u seem to like Cs who can shoot.

D Malone isn’t good enough for your squad.

Try all 5 low-key.

Magic is not for my playstlye this year so I sold him. But I start Shaq, Butler and Wade. Malone on my bench so this Prime drop was goated.

Davis a beast I just rather use Giannis at the 4.

I just like having 4 shooters on the floor… If my PG can shoot, my C definitely can be a Shaq type.

then you could do a wade as PG lineup with Shaq at C. both are really good cards and wade is a god damn sniper this year.

if you’ve got the MT keep walt as an 11th man in case you need to switch wade out for defense

Wade is one of the best offensive cards in the game if you like quick releases. He surprised me a lot since I don’t like quick releases. I got magic and close to selling him back. He’s good but I just can’t live with his release. Butler is great and has a butter release but it is a bit slower compared to the others more meta players. I run him as my backup 3. Shaq is a beast on defense and the boards, but get ready to be offballed. Haven’t used AD.

Magic & AD are a must cop, just go get them ASAP, cause they will be only more and more expensive. Non-shooting center will always put you in a disadvantage, no matter how fast & strong he is, so I wouldn’t even bother buying Shaq. It’s too late for centers without a 3 ball unfortunately. Malone is very good, especially on defense, but I still prefer Blake because of his swb. Wade… I didn’t like him at all - his release was too quick and unintuitive for me, plus he doesn’t have dimer nor pick dodger. Sold him after 4 games. And there is one card that you didn’t mention, but definitely should cop, even just to put him at the end of your bench - Jimmy Butler. He’s amazing. Most reliable shooter in the game for me, and obviously a top tier defender. He’s better than Kawhi.

Magic, AD, and Wade are the best new cards and Shaq is right there because of his speed.

Wade, Ray, Bird, AD, Shaq

Jimmy is same as kawhi, wade is absolutely deadly but it’s him or magic depending on your style of play, I would go with wade-kawhi-tmac-ad-shaq, penny/magic/frazier (who you like best)-ray-bird-giannis-drob/porzingis
