There will be a Kobe release today. Not a code, unless they are actually going to release a Mamba code. Who knows.
Not to mention they send tweets before the locker code drops with #lockercodes or this emoji 
. Diamond Kobe and Magic are the only two surprise code drops I know of this year and that’s probably because they were auctionable.
Yeah it was like that with auctionable card codes last year too.
