Hey guys I’m thinking about getting 2k for myteam, is it too late? How has the gameplay been this year? Also I would probably buy MT, how much do I need to build a team that can compete?

Don’t listen to these opinions, they bash the game yet still play and visit the forum everyday, because 2k is the best basketball game.
Up to you bro, still plenty of basketball left, but if I were you save that $ for 2k20 and be patient, might better or worse or the same.

The gameplay is actually great. I think it feels smooth they toned down a few things like dribble-gods and blowbys, and I overall enjoy playing games.
They just fuck up every other part. They ruined the meta with ridiculous early card drops and there’s a real lack of meaningful content. The rewards are mostly trash from the premier game mode which is Unlimited, and TTO is nothing new.
If they can just add some COOL GAME MODES and maybe not release PD Giannis 5 months before PD Curry it would be a LOT better.

The game ain’t bad just don’t over invest into it or take it soo seriously it’s a video game. 2k ain’t perfect but overall the game is alright it’s the players that make it toxic, just like camping in COD, it ain’t the game it’s the community

Hard to explain, but 2k is like a house 
. The House Is in a decent neighborhood, but it has been abandoned and termites have ate away at the foundation. The abandoned house is now occupied by squatters who are partaking in illegal practices and shady dealings. The residents of the neighborhood would love nothing more than to get rid of those squatters, but legally as of now they can’t do anything to get rid of them. This is what 2k is like.
