I was sad to hear this. I had relatives who lived in Louisville back during Crum’s heyday of the 1980s and because of that Louisville became one of my favorite college bball teams. Coach Crum’s Cards teams reached four final fours winning two titles in 1980 and 1986.

He was one of the best “X’s and O’s” coaches who ever coached and since he learned from the great John Wooden, that didn’t hurt.
