Multiplayer Connection Issues

Hello my fellow peers,

If someone would be kind enough to help me, I am having some connectivity issues in all online game modes of NBA 2K21(current gen). Whenever I enter an online game, I am met with excessive lag and eventually disconnect. I am able to play all of my other Xbox One multiplayer games with no connection issues, so I do not think the issue is with my WiFi system. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but to no avail. If anyone knows a fix, that would be greatly appreciated.

@HarryLundt Do you have any advice? You seem like a pretty tech savvy individual.

I have the same issue, I tried port forwarding , changing DNS, and still disconnect before the game can even start … which I always get a L for.

Thank you for your reply. Most of those terms you just mentioned are outside of my technological knowledge, so I am feeling fairly uneasy about my chances to fix my connection issues.
