For pf I was considering Malone, Garnett, Johnson, and Barkley

Not a great player but was a great athlete

He was a great jumper, but outside of that his athleticism wasn’t particularly special.

I’ve said this on here before, but Wilt Chamberlain would be the most famous athlete on Earth if he played today. We probably wont see another human being like that for a very, very, very long time.

If you want more info, check out the Wilt Chamberlain Archive channel on YouTube.

Imagine throwing a 6’7 235 lbs man like that WITH ONE HAND
“…palmed a 16 pound bowling ball without putting his fingers in the hole.”

Shannon Sharpe is talking about this subject right now, and he just mentioned Danny Ainge :joy: Skip & Shannon lurk the forum, guys.

What about Jokic?

Wilt easily if Earl Manigault would played on NBA i could have any doubt,

So Russell was an Olympic level track and field athlete and one of the greatest ever to play basketball, definitely going with him, mj, Vince Lebron are great athletes but the only sport there making the Olympics in is bball

The athleticism Danny Ainge had is a different kind of athleticism but certainly worthy of consideration. The ability to play two sports at the professional level is insane. Baseball requires such a different set of skills than any other sport, too. Wrist strength, hand-eye coordination, reaction time. He’s not above Wilt or Bron or anyone else being seriously discussed but he is a very unique case worthy of discussion. Same can be said for others who played both professionally at a high level or could have if the chance was taken, like Dave Winfield
