In case anyone is wondering, yes: Lakers are still going to be paying him $5M/season over next 3 seasons. And, yes, this still applies to their cap.

The Baby Bulls era was fun to watch just from the perspective of an NBA fan. But Deng was also such a key member of the Rose teams as well.
It’s cool to see how much love a real Chicago fan has for Luol. He was such an amazing guy off the court as well, really awesome to see how well liked he was.

All of those guys you mentioned had a certain level of toughness about them and all played so hard together. I could see where Chicago fans have a lot of love and respect for that unit.

Oh man all the guys from my young teens are done. Loved Luol, I wish we got him earlier in his career. At least we’ll always have Vince, he’ll never retire at this rate.
