He’s a great coach, I hate to see him go. Not sure how he’ll do in the NBA though, it’s totally different.

I’m very surprised he left, especially considering his age and health issues. Great coach though.

I think that is a pretty good hire for Michigan. I really thought he was going to end up with an NBA head coaching job either this year or next year. Beilein left at a horrible time to try and find a coach, so I think especially given the circumstances they did a good job. Just like anyone that doesn’t have HC experience or a HC track record you never really know, but I think he is a good hire.

College has a lot to do with recruiting. His resume is pretty impressive & he’s not too old to be irrelevant. I think he’ll end up being a great hire.
