Before I pull the trigger and sell off and go full budget on XB1, I wanted some opinions.
Context
Currently have 735K on XB1, so I’m not hurting for MT but I def don’t have tons to do whatever I want, but on PC I have almost every auctionable card and tons of MT to get whatever comes out. So I’m thinking about selling everything on XB1 and going full budget squad since I have some decent cards locked in or ones I sniped or earned that didn’t cost much. If I sold off everything, I’d earn an extra (estimated) 820K after tax, which I’d use to continue grinding spotlights and picking up budget players, and snipe.
your lineup would still be pretty solid, i’m rocking an all rewards team/budget players to save MT. once some cards start coming out that I really want i’ll probably start spending.
If it were me I would keep Bird and sell Walker along with everything else, but that’s just me. Bird is the only valuable card I’m still holding on to.
Bird is really the only one I’d be sad to see go. I really like DeRozan as well but with Roy being better and having the same release it’s not a big deal.
I’d take Walt over either of your current PG’s and his cheap to keep. I’d also get a better 3 than walker. Odom or Millsap (if possible) comes to my mind.
I agree with you about needing Walt, even though I like Lin and Marbury more since they have RE. But I only bring Walt in for defense in tough matchups. I’m about 400 pts away from JKidd Diamond level so I’m just gonna grind it out as I play some offline.
I’m in the exact same situation my guy, thinking of selling everything except wade (because I think his price will rise) which includes bosh, yao, porzingis, butler, shaq, walt, odom, I will be gone for a month away from home so I’m guessing no point in keeping them
sniped a jimmy b for 56 so I’ll play w/ him for a bit. also bought Wade in a cluster of 8 ending at the exact same time on XB1 (seems that bots are coming to XB1!!!) and got one for 168. I’ll keep him on the squad and sell him back whenever his price rises above 250 or if his price stabilizes before super packs

Anyways, apart from Jimmy B (56k) and Wade (168k), I picked up Walt (49k) and Odom (53k) and currently running this:
Ive still got about 5 or so TTOff games to finish evolving Antoine Walker, and I’ll try him out at PD but I’m thinking of selling to earn about 60k profit after taxes (10k purchase and 80k sale price). That’ll pay for one of the cheaper cards I picked up today and put me back at 1.6 million for the weekend drop.

Updates
Bought a perfect Bosh last night for 130k and sold him today for 181k.
Panic sold Jimmy B for 66k when the opal news hit. Could have waited and gotten more since he’s up to 70 again now, but whatever, I made MT off him. I may buy back if he drops to 50 or so.
Finished evolving Antoine Walker. Sold for almost 80k so I netted about 62K from the deal.
Focused on JKidd Evo and he’s now at diamond and about 510 points, 90 assists, and 24 rebounds to PD.
Picked up another Antoine Walker diamond at 11k to Evo with Kidd so I don’t waste assists.
Next Steps
If Kobe is an evo I’ll definitely be working on him unless his upgrades or requirements are whack.
I’ll probably be holding off on the cards tomorrow, but I may try to snatch up a cheap DeRozan, Kawhi, Butler, or even TMac depending on how far he drops.
If PD Wade goes north of 250K I’m going to sell immediately
