In 2k if your cheesing what is the point of a mic your not gonna make friends most the time ?

Only 1/5 ppl have a mic it seems

Do ppl actually leave their mic hooked up to beak incase 1/5 ppl actually have it hooked up?

I honestly leave mine in a drawer and rarely ever Use it

I just can’t understand this mind set you wanna cheese but you also want attention?

It seems sadistic tbh

Like u want the other 2k player to have a change of heart like they suffer from Stockholm syndrome and start to praise you ?

It honestly baffles me I’ll admit I used a headset for the first few times I played 2k5 online but I realized if I was really trying to win having any convo worthwhile stopped me from cheesing said user. And most the time it was just meaningless beaking that hurt my concentration I’m sure this is their main goal

Everyone has mics we are usually in chat parties most of the time ppl turn their mic in in game to try to get u to quit or if you’re winning they are trying to annoy u

I’m in a party almost everytime I’m on 2K so I can’t hear any of that nonsense

I don’t use a mic, but when I had one, I would tell my opponent what he did wrong on every play I scored, most so in madden then 2k

That is a nice thing but could be inferiating the other player might be cautious to listen maybe your trolling for a big play :joy:

Tbh I would also get sick of hearing other ppl in a party also I have to listen to music pretty loud when I play games for the most part and that would annoy ppl usually and unless the convo really important my mind just ain’t there when gaming unless u like my best friend and usually I just text him in between if it’s important

I occasionally use it. Most of the time i put it on too tell some moron talking crap to stfu.

Honestly used to when someone would break but I just mute easier then getting up to grab mic

Also last year I would just elabed it plugged in because if they paused they could un mute themselves

But I honestly broke my last mic doing that it was hanging and got caught in my couch springs

See u can never trust a random that wants to beat you that just wants to talk I’ve learned they always have a motive weather to take your guard down I have seen ppl act nice just to switch half way through the game

I allways use mine but have the mic piece detached, its rather annoying listening to these clowns honestly but my monitor has no speakers

Lol I don’t switch up on ppl, but I did think I was getting in there heads, especially when they have a mic, they just get quite when I start teaching them on what they did wrong or congratulations them when they hit a tough shot or run a nice play

Ya they let there guard down when I played 2k5 football with a mic online that was my game plan but that was the very beginning I learned either most ppl don’t have a mic or are not that pleasant so I’m only hurting myself playing nice in hopes of a good tenjoyable session but can’t help but feel I’m just playing the fool and being taken advantage of so i stopped after not long

And just listen to music this is why I’m not mad at the quick pause after a nice play that’s the only taunt needed just make it respectable

Boxers don’t need to talk during a fight neither do fighting game players if you don’t know the person or it’s not a friendly really no reason to mic the person in 2k either

Usually when I’m playing doesn’t matter what game it is I have my headset on and just hangout in a party and eventually my boys get on and I talk to them. People don’t really go to game chat unless they are really trynna be toxic to another person

I have no idea where my microphone is for my headphones. It’s really annoying when people come on and are like, “Come on bro, I know you have mic.” I usually just mute them anyways.

I tried using a mic before it didnt go well lol i mean talking friendly and all but usually people dont talk back or turn on their mic after they beat you to talk trash (never before gotta be sure they dont end up losing lol)

I have yet to hear anyone say anything. Wouldnt talk to them regardless
