How to green so much?

I play people that green every single time they shoot. Is there a secret or do they just play all day every day and memorize the green window

Get your hand up. But aside from good contests, if theyre open and make green after green its muscle memory of the release.

For me its just finding players that have releases that I like, some cards I can’t green with them no matter how much I practice it, while others I’m constantly greening with off rip

Are you using meter on or off

Turn the meter off and just get used to the timing. Shooting becomes second nature once you put the time in.

I usually use meter off, looking at the meter always throws my shot off. Find some players that have releases you like, previous years I prefered slow releases, but now I’ve found a good middle ground where I have players that fit me and my play style

I can’t green with anyone using meter off. Kinda shitty

You got input delay? On next gen I had that issue at first. It can be fixed.

Change your tv settings to “game mode” should be under picture settings

When I shoot with the stick it’s just like button. Is there a different setting?

I gave up on the stick. I green everything with square and the stick seemed like I was just Doing to much

Which game you playing.? Square no meter is the way fir both , on current gen shooting was difficult specially in park / pro am etc you need to practice more .
On next Gen you probably need to play the game more , and you will find the jumpers timing … take off that meter and play the game online and you will see results for sure

Is there a pretty strong bonus for using no meter? Never done it before, but willing to give it a shot if it’s worth it

They reduced a lot since 2k20 I think , but will help you in general . Meter In 2k Ă­ts always inconsistent , looking for the player motion will help you to actually learn the jumper

This is the way. Especially on next gen with all the different type of jumpshots you can trigger. I rather see and react to the animation. Now Im just shooting off instinct.

The bar is too distracting I dont want anything over my player.
