How can I dodge matches without consequences?

Hey guys I’m trying to match up to play a friend in MTU in 2K20

In 2K19 I would click the PS4 button and open up music app and I would be able to leave without the L or time ban

Any help here guys?

Without L? Don’t think you can do that sir. You can avoid warning and ban for unsportsmanship.

Leaving before tip off in nba2k19 didn’t equate to L’s I believe

It counted as an L. At least last year. I might have been like that in one of the previous versions of 2k but they patched it quickly.

They counted as Ls, but not as Ws, so technically as a whole, the 2k community has a losing record lol

You get an L and lose contracts. You opponent doesn’t get a W and doesn’t lose contracts.

Have you tried dashboarding as soon as the matchup screen appears? Not sure if that works but I know I’ve had some dudes do that to me and it didn’t impact my record at all

You can dodge matches by not searching for a match :muscle:

I lost my 11th game yesterday to a line-up with +15 OVR… when I finished my 12th game and be 0-0 again, I will try a few things out and let y’all know… I’m really pissed matching up with 85+ when I have a gold S5 and a silver bench
