I’ll be moving on to high school next year and I have a question. I really like this girl and she’s such a positive and nice person. I was wondering if I could go to her high school and then someday form a relationship with her. I think she likes me back and she’s already revealed her high school. It’s 30 minutes away from my house, which is pretty far for a school since my current school only takes 7 minutes to drive to. Should I attend her high school or am I just being blinded by love? There are closer high schools and I’ll be playing high school basketball so the long drive time might be a problem.

Though this could most likely be the case, if there isn’t anything that’s attracting you to that 7min away school, I’d say why not go at her’s.
Starting high school and generally starting out new chapters in your life can be sometimes difficult at first, so if you have her as a friend who’s as you said a very positive one, surrounding yourself with her and more similar people can be great for you.
In time see how things go between the 2 of you and make moves onward from that.
If the 30min drive is a big problem to you, then just work on your free time to spend more time with her so your relationship doesn’t fade.
Maybe I’m just overthinking this more than you bro lol (sorry I tend to do that sometimes 
)

You’ll find another girl faster than the 30 minute drive at your age. Spending an hour in the car instead of 14 minutes over 5 days a week for 9 months a year over 4 years is 48,000 minutes in the car vs. 11,200.
I know this kind of stuff can seem like it’s everything at your age, but I’d recommend taking it easy. You can still develop a relationship with her without wasting all that time in the car.

It just hurts when you like someone who you know isn’t the one. This is life for you. Her school could’ve been much closer to mine, my house could’ve been closer to hers, her parents’ could’ve chosen a different school, and so many other possibilities, but this is how life does it. Making everything the most complicated thing in the world. But because of this, I have to stay strong and grow up and be prepared for everything it throws at me.

I can tell you a 30 minute drive each way isn’t worth it for a girl, you’re in high school enjoy it and just go to the school you were meant to go to

I’ll try and get her number then. You guys are right. 30 minutes is too much. If it works out, then someday, we may be able to meet up in a few years when it’s legal for me to drive.
