Definitely the PD Shaq from 2k18. You needed to complete 900 offline games, get (I think) all the Supermax rewards (like unlimited seasons this year I guess). And some other stuff as well, can’t really remember. But it was a lot and very few did it.
Edit: found it. Wasn’t all the rewards, just one of them.

PD Barkley. Every USA set was crazy expensive and the pull rates were terrible. Especially if you didn’t lock them when they first dropped

Yes, PD Barkley was in the game in 2k17. But he was a set lock for the most expensive set in the game.

WTF I didn’t know this. I thought he never gave 2k the rights to put him in a game?!
He gave consent for that year only and only for the Olympic team as to not break it up. Didn’t give rights to his actual nba career though

Yeah. He only had the team USA card. And it was the only card he had in the game. So the only possibility to see him in the game again is if 2k decides to maybe make the dream team edition of the game and get him on board to be on that team again. Maybe put the dream team on the cover or smth. But at the same time, I don’t think it will happen any time soon.

While it would be cool to have Barkley and Reggie Miller in game, they would be the exact copies of Zion and someone like Ray Allen or Klay, respectively.
Barkley is an athletic 6’6 PF and Miller is a skinny knockdown shooter. They wouldn’t be anything special.
Still, c’mon 2k, find a way to get them in game!

Pd MJ (as the last card in Barkley set in 17) & Pd Barkley. No auctionable set comes close to Barkley. I have him & prolly every top card since 17. As for grinding, this year have some good gems like Bill & Tacko.

Not particularly hardest cards in myteam history but the rng in 2k21 has been absolutely ridiculous

They could make Barkley special by making his player model truly chonky- the roundest mound of rebound in the game.
Kinda bummed I didn’t play MyTeam in ‘17, but kinda glad as I put WAY too many hours in already. No way I could’ve resisted going for Sir Charles.
