Since getting LJ the first day of the month I pretty much avoided MTU for the majority of the month even though I acquired some new cards to try out like MJ and Magic. Mostly because it bores me to death to play against the same squads, spamming the same playing type (p/r,p/f, pick and jack up 3s with the usual suspects) even though I still manage to win a fair share of the games. I decided to try and play with some of my weaker cards for fun just because there is an obvious tendency on people playing that way and top tier squads.
This is the team I ran with and I gotta admit it was the most fun I’ve had in this mode since the first month. Yes, I got matched with some players who were really bad at the game but I faced mostly similar teams and had some entertaining and challenging games. I only faced 2 clowns running 8 bronze players and 5 D/PD but they weren’t that good so I managed to get a win and actually enjoyed the challenge of beating superior cards.
I ended up getting 11 wins this way even though I wasn’t expecting to so I decided to sit on them for next month but I’ll certainly do it again once I get that 12th win next month. In those 11 games I only faced dudes full court pressing like twice and it was once they fell behind by a big margin. If you are looking to take a breather from the constant sweat I highly recommend you guys try this every once in a while.
Lmao I got better cards. I mean I’m a budget baller so my team is far from being the best but I got all the players of the month plus a few extra D/PD. my “best lineup” is
I just don’t find joy in playing 2-3 games a night and facing Kirilenko and Granger at point jacking up 3s in all 3 of them. Or playing 3 games where my offense ends up being passing to the SG and getting a basket over and over cause my opponent full court presses for 20 minutrs.
Talking about my team I got around 100k should I sell Mullin and try to get Marc and Pippen? Kareem and Gilmore are pretty equals I need a big who can spread the floor now that I got Magic. I really like Mullin’s release and he is money off 3pt plays but I’ve heard so much rave about Pippen I wanna try him out.
