So I played a game last night where my defense was set to no threes and play physical at the same time… Of course this meant my team would actively flood the paint on shots and turn their backs on drives. I’m so confused anyone ever experience this.
I should explain the settings were glitched. It had no threes and play physical highlighted at the same time in the defensive settings when it should have been one or the other.
you need to set your defensive settings so that its “Tight on ball, tight off ball” and make sure youre actively icon switching to make sure that your players are in correct position. Never rely on the CPU unless its them guarding the ball handler

Really how. Usually I put the settings for specific players and do a general freelance defense but it’s never allowed both, only one stays highlighted.
Use the dpad menus in-game.
That’s what I’m talking about. I went home and double checked. When you hit the D pad and it says focus on, I had 2 conflicting styles highlighted. Had to be a glitch. Played a few games never happened again. I knew I wasn’t crazy.
