Did 2K just Lower the “Excellent release” frequency for CPU’s on TTO Offline?

Just got an update from 2K and I’m noticing that the CPU’s on TTO Offline (haven’t tried any other mode yet) aren’t having as many “excellent releases” as they were having before the update. Here the most noticeable I’ve seen so far…

  • Doug Christie (this guy would green almost every time you leave him open on TTO Offline)
  • Drazen Petrovic (this by far the most noticeable, Drazen isn’t greening on his contested, layups (he usually greens layups), and isn’t GREENING wide open 3’s (This is one of the few guys you should never leave open (for a rebounding requirement) because he’ll almost always green a wide open shot)
  • Stephon Marbury (I don’t know why, but Starbury is also unable to green wide open shots as much as he’s used to)

I don’t know if this is the rumored “Patch 6” somebody here mentioned that was happening soon. Regardless, I’m going to check and see if some of these players releases have been “tampered with” by 2K.

Just played back to back games where Ruby Kenny Smith was greening all of his shots and the next game was Sapphire Matt Barnes playing like a PD

I just played against Doug again and this dude isn’t greening wide open 3’s and is bricking everything in sight. Him and Drazen are the reason I made this post, I swear these dudes would never miss

I haven’t had problems with Horry, but Matt Barnes gave me some trouble.

I’ve had no issues with Barnes or Horry but a few nights ago Doug lit me up lol

I hate going against those promo cards.

Yuta watanabe was destroying me the other night. Had to look him up on MTDB after the game to see what was up. Didn’t know they all came badged out like that.

Just shows how much badges mean this year in comparison to actual ratings.

Yeah he’s a Ruby and holy cow. Dude was pulling up over my whole team and dunking on the world. I was helpless. Then I looked in the stats and saw 30 fucking HoF badges like cot dang!

Welp,

Looks like Peja is also affected from this on TTO Offline, I just faced Ruby Peja on TTO Offline and that card didn’t green a single shot out of 6 wide open attempts. For some weird reason though, James Posey appears to be unaffected by this.

Yeah dude those promo cards hand out sausage like they work for Oscar Meyer. I played against promo Ben Simmons and he was yamming on anyone in sight

Have also had ayton and marcus camby green 3’s it makes me try to play defense when there is no point
