Brandon Ingram said he’s not coming off the bench (Lakers)

What do y’all think about Ingram saying he isn’t coming off the bench? Personally I feel like Kuzma has outplayed him this year soo far and even last year as a rookie Kuzma was better. I think he should take whatever role and prove himself especially after the Bs he caused last week.

He can fuck off the bench (as well) imo.

I’m howling that he publicly said that as a 3rd year guy. Balls of titanium but that’s my guyIstillthinkwepackagehimandlonzoforKawhiwhenTorontogetsdesperate

Luke better run this:
Zo
Ingram
LBJ
Kuz
McGee

He needs Hart/KCP for spacing there.

I like this new BI. This new aggression should translate well to his game. Attack the rim and take big shots.

Was their best lineup

Wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot. Hart was a no-show last game and KCP is a no-show this season so far.

he knows he has a coach that doesn’t have enough clout to say otherwise. Now if Lebron were to come out and publicly tell him to sit his ass down that would be different.

If LeBron could play defence and close games they could won the games they have lost

The thing is this is out of context we do not know what the reporter asked him what if they asked “Ingram will you be in the starting lineup for the game?” His response “ I don’t know the lineup but I know I’ll be in it” Ingram has always been a team first guy maybe he simply doesn’t know the lineup but he knows he’ll be starting we shouldn’t jump to conclusions off a answer with no context the media is easy to manipulate everything.

@Bmcm4716 If I was his teammate I"ll be pissed off to hear something like that

Yeah, I agree with @Bmcm4716, it’s not like he pulled a Melo. He was asked about the lineup and replied that he will be in it, which is safe to assume since he’s been a starter for the past couple of years. Context is everything.

Don’t throw my guy Lonzo in there lol, throw em Josh

Yeah Walton has to tread lightly for sure too. That’s the PREVIOUS regimes hire. Yes, if Bron told him to chill then BI is not saying a peep.

Why would you be pissed ? He’s been a regular starter and it doesn’t sound like he’s pulling a melo I’m saying he could’ve been informed “Ingram you will be in the starting lineup we just don’t know what position” and that’s his response he’ll be in the lineup but doesn’t know where. If we had actual context to this then it would be fair to be mad or not . Your reaction is most likely what the media is aiming for to be honest but I could also be wrong but we don’t know any context.

LeBron is the only one in that team that can say that

Imagine if you are Lance right now - you work hard af and u actually played really good at the games, then a baby in the team put himself guaranteed in the starting lineup

Your saying it off the intent he was saying it as a demand I’m saying what if Luke Walton told Ingram he will be in the starting lineup but he doesn’t know his position at the time the reporter asked this question lol we do not know the context Ingram hasn’t had any past record of being like that anyways the media’s aim is to turn whoever they can against eachother and stir any type of drama that will pull views
