Ben Simmons: Out for the Season?

That boy just can’t get right…

This season for sure. He’ll probably be fine by next season if it starts in like, December.

I had subluxation problems and a similar surgery, albeit they restructured my knee track to prevent recurring subluxations in my surgery as well. I think he could come back deeply in the playoffs as one subluxation isn’t the end of the world (depending on severity) but it’s an issue that if not taken care of properly can be very degenerative and probably not worth it if they value him going forward(or he values his future). The mass being removed is generally not crazy invasive either depending where it came from.

Yeah he’s done he isn’t coming back from a dislocated knee the best choice is bringing him back late in the playoffs. Hope he can get well for next year.

Wish him a speedy recovery.

Embiid for sure mad. Sixers core might be in big trouble.

Point Horford

Ewing theory says Sixers might be better off. Just let Embiid do his thing, he has been absolutely unstoppable. Tangentially, if they get bounced in the first or second round hopefully Brett Brown gets replaced with a better coach.

No one is guarding Embiid 1v1 they will be fine if not better bro

They probably need to break up anyway

If you had to trade one who would it be

I used to say Embiid, but I’d trade Simmons. Embiid is essentially unguardable. If you could get somebody like Lillard for Simmons, I’d pull the trigger. That team would waltz to the Finals.

I’d be trading Embiid over Simmons but thats probably my Australian bias

why don’t the sixers just buy injury cards and apply them to simmons?

(but for real i hope this man gets back on the court as soon as he can)

That I’d also do at this point. I love Ben, but he’s been hamstrung by Brett Brown’s coaching and I’m convinced he’s going to L.A. as a free agent. I’m not so sure he’s ever going to be better than he is now, and clearly it’s not going to work long-term. Embiid is the man, you gotta tailor the roster to him at this point.

We touched on this recently in another game day thread. I build around Jo. I love Simmons, but they just don’t fit together and I doubt he ever gets over his shooting phobia. Would love a smooth shooting wing to complement Jo’s inside game.

Man I wanted to see KD with and Force Big that would’ve been great for my eyes
