Hey so as well all know this 2k is basically coming to an end, so I was hoping there would be some interest in what likely would be one of the last tournaments of the year. I was thinking a potentially cool/fun idea would be an all PG lineup, so there’s more incentive to bring out some of the more obscure guard cards that most of us have barely had a chance to use much this year.
Theoretically there would be as few rules as possible so we can all have fun
The only rules I was thinking of was only allowing 2 PG above 6’7 per roster (Simmons Bonga Magic Penny etc), and only allowing one such player on the court at all times
There will also be a minutes requirement to ensure everyone isn’t just playing their best 5 all game, personally I was thinking along the lines of each player on your team has to play at least 5 minutes
Only players who are a PG primary or secondary position in the game and/or on MTC can Be used
And ideally no hard offball but if there’s significant interest in changing any of these rules from potential competitors then obviously we can change that, just trying to have one last hurrah! Would be awesome if we can get this going!
@Ddrop@YOSEMITE_HAM@DEG i’m Just tagging people who seem to like sim playing style/dribbling and/or have showed an affinity for playing in such tournaments in the past and I’m sure i’m forgetting people too, but it would be awesome if we can get something started
I know for a fact I haven’t listed everyone so if you guys know anyone else who might be down please tag em!
Also I gotta add @MrBlunty to this I know for a fact he has game
I was thinking you could just assemble your roster with any PGs of your choosing aside from the cap of only having two players 6’7 or above, what do you think?
Most of these people that start these tourneys do it because they want a break from the unlimited play style of the constant pressing and baiting full game that’s why they make that rule. For more relaxing games
