A way to stop Simmons if you dont have him if you're interested

Grab Evo Roberson and put him at the end of the bench… sub him in at SG then match him up with Simmons. Whoever they have at SG shouldn’t be too much of a mismatch for your PG.

Works better than assigning Giannis to him and having your PG guarding a SF or PF…but putting Giannis at SF and doing the same thing probably could work depending who they have at SF.

Sorry if this is obvious…just trying to help dudes that like to run normal point guards and didnt realize this. Roberson has a nice quick shot but is slow dribbling.

PG13 can do the same thing, but is probably not as good defensively and costs a lot more. Slightly better offense although he isnt as good dribbling as a diamond PG13 in previous 2Ks.

i START ROBERSON ON MY UNLIMITED TEAM. HE ALWAYS LOCKS CAN HIT 3’S AND WITH A SHOE AND DECENT COACH CAN SPEED BOOST. I GAVE MINE A JORDAN BALL CONTROL DIAMOND SHOE, YOU CAN PICK ONE UP FOR LIKE 3-5KMT MOST DAYS.

NICE ADVICE! MOST UNDERRATED SG/SF IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW.

Ya man he has big man defense/rebounding down low. His shot is easy to green with the meter off. I run Stotts and splurged on him since he is so valuable IMO putting the white Adidas on him giving him 86 BC with the coach. Boosts his SWB, Dreb and vertical. Sharp takeover.

I’d be really interested to see how PD JKidd does.
99 speed/accel/lateral/steal, hof defensive badges across the board, higher strength than Simmons if you use Pop and 95 interior defense. No other card outside of Cs has such high interior d.

Im guessing Simmons animations at his height would still trump Kidd at 6’4" with a 78 inch vertical. Who knows though probably a top option as a true PG…Im thinking the hop step shit will still work on him.

Ive tried Livingston on him and he slows him down…Roberson and Giannis can lock him up pretty well though.

Vertical only matters for rebounds.

Kidd would slow him down on the perimeter but he’ll get posted Hooked to death. Most Ben users won’t post up so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Oscar Robertson can guard him as well. Card isnt that hard to stop at all really.

No Unpluckable, Handles for Days or Tight Handles shows on a PG that big. He can be harassed and ripped up a ton.

It depends dude. The guys that have stacked teams and 5 out iso him that are really really good at getting to the paint, hop-stepping and pumping a million times making sure they make you pay if you help…you need roberson/Giannis for those guys IMO.

Roberson is nice, but his lack of shooting badges is concerning. 86 BC doesn’t mean much when he has bad animations and no QFS

He is strictly a 3 and D player…he is a ruby he is not going to be perfect. His release greens and is quick…he finishes well and of course locks down and rebounds on D. Gets the MFn job done.

Ya, but if he has Simmons on the floor and pulls the 5 out iso with TMac to single out your point guard you can help out with Simmons guy since he sucks at shooting…then he will call for a pick and roll from Simmons and try to get a switch or a free run to the basket.

By the way can you icon select your screen guy this year? How do you do it…its been pissing me off haha.

Tmac is too much of a matchup for pretty much all point guards besides Ben tbh

LB and then RB and then the position. You’ll see an option under RB names like player select or some shit
